Carrots...anyone?

We've had a fun and busy week. On Monday we went to Elias's house to play. Wednseday we went to storytime at the Library and to play at the gymnastics place. Thursday they went to Aunt Christine's to play while mommy went to the movies. Friday Aunt Sheila watched them at our house. Then we had family night at Sam's club. We had two pretzels with nacho cheese, a nice cherry coke, and lots of samples. Finally on Saturday Daddy took them down to the bike shop with him.
Jojo was being too quite so I went and checked on him in Sister's room. He was laying under a pile of clothes I had stacked under the table. I guess that's his idea of quite time. He's pretty rough looking. His face is terribly chapped (happened last year also), his hair is almost at it's limits (2 more months to go for first haircut), and he has a miscellaneous scratch on his face (as always). He wanted in on the action himself... literally. Lillian ate carrots for the first time last night. I think she did better with those than with the rice cereal. So far she hasn't been much of a fan of eating. I'm waiting for the cute chubby cheeks to start turning orange now.
This is the most I've ever seen her extend her neck. I always just thought she didn't have one.

Helmet head

Lillian decided to start rolling from her belly to back now. She's being going the opposite for about a month now. She isn't very graceful though. She just kind of thumps head on the ground.
Jojo loves sharing his helmet with Lillian. Believe it or not she didn't even make a peep during all of this. She tolerates her big brother very well.
We had a wonderful Valentine's day. Grant and Dustin, took Jess and I out for a great evening. We had dinner at Bazbeaux's, then went to Circus Solieus (?), and finally desert at the South Bend Chocolate Factory. It was fabulous. I've been online today looking for trapeze classes. It's been added to my to do list. I figured it falls under my "ways to fly" category. If anyone ever get the chance to see the show I would HIGHLY recommend it. Have a wonderful week.

Let's eat

Lillian ate her cereal for the first time this week. She did pretty well for her first time. I'm not sure if it's the cereal or chance, but she's slept very well the past two nights. She's wearing her cute bib that her Aunt Christine got her for Christmas.
First time in her jumper. She didn't jump at all, but she did love being it.
Josiah wanted to get in with her.
That face means trouble.

Let it snow!

We went sledding over at Mom's on Sunday. Jeff, Anna, and Sophia joined us. The top of the snow was kind of crunchy so it was really loud to walk on and sled down. He wasn't quite sure what to think of it at first. Sophia didn't want to go down, but when I said Jojo, her, and her baby could all go she agreed. She doesn't look so sure. Later we made a bed for "baby" in the snow and threw baby so she would sink in the snow. Sophie thought that was funny.
It's impossible to get both of them to look at the camera.
Daddy took this picture of Lillian in the laundry basket.
She had her Dr. appt on Monday. She now weighs 14lbs 11oz and is 25 1/2 in long. Dr. says she looks good. We got the ok to start rice cereal, but Grant and I haven't been home at the same meal time to give it a try.

My cutie

I have a new obsession with the store Janie & Jack. We got this cute ensemble from there this week. It's the first hat I've been excited about.
This is a picture of Jojo's crib without the bedding. He decided to take his diaper off during a nap and pee about 2 feet out from the crib.

Chainsaw Massacre

Aunt Jenni and her family picked out this oh-so-kind Christmas present. Jojo's been having a lot of fun with it. Oh, and Sadie wanted me to tell you thank you. She really loves being chased with a chainsaw.

Fun with Quattro

This is Little David IV. He's Grant's friend the Marines son. He's 6 weeks older than Josiah. They had so much fun playing together. They would just follow each other around and didn't care if we were around or not. In fact if we would come in the room they would stop and look at us like we were in their business. It's hard to believe how big they are getting.
We found them in the bedroom jumping on the bed together.
At the end of the night they were taking turns climbing on the table and sliding off. Then I went in to check on them to find them both standing on the table at the same time. Lillian has to get camera time too.
This was the first time we put her in the saucer and she really enjoyed herself.
